Safety is a fundamental corporate value of THG. We strive to attain the highest safety standards possible, and believe in providing our Employees and Customers with a safe and healthy environment. With the aim of preventing accidents and eliminating damage and/or injury to property and personnel, THG maintains an active Safety Management System (SMS) combined with our IQSMS – Adapting to individual clients corporate HSE regulations and BARS and IOGP.
Our objective is the proactive management of identifiable risks and the elimination of injury to personnel and damage to equipment. To that end, we continuously examine our operation for hazards and find ways to minimize them. We report incident, train staff on safety management, document our findings and our responses, and strive for continuous improvement.
Titan Offshore (Pty) Limited is the Offshore division of THG. It was previously known as Court Helicopters which was established in South Africa in 1969 and was acquired by THG in 2008. It has its divisional head headquarters now in the Garden Route, South Africa with operations all over the world, such as in Nigeria – Offshore Oil Rig Support.
Court Helicopters (Namibia) (Pty) Limited is the Namibian division licensed and approved in Namibia to provide Helicopter and Fixed Wing Services. As a subsidiary of the THG Helicopter Group, which operates 5 x AW139’s in the Region, we have the compliant Aircraft, qualified Crew, LIMSAR capability, credentials, expertise and infrastructure in place to match the needs of the Shell Namibia requirement, specifically addressing the backup aircraft LIMSAR requirement in the Region.
THG partner up with Costa do Sol Air Taxi, who are focused on operations in support of the oil and gas industry in Brazil in onshore and offshore operations. The company is approved by ANAC for offshore operations, in service to ships and oil platforms and for onshore operations with external cargo transportation. The aircraft are equipped with all the safety requirements required by the aeronautical authorities, such as: emergency floats, lifeboats and survival equipment at sea. In addition, all aircraft have satellite tracking system.
